Help someone less fortunate than you.

In my wanderings today, I found this website: http://www.kiva.org/app.php

The Star has done an article on the site as well but the basics are through kiva.org, you can loan funds from $25 to as much as you want to entrepreneurs in other countries just trying to start out.

The Star highlights the story of a man in Mexico who was loaned the funds he needed to start his own barbershop. But a quick look through the featured entrepreneurs on the site shows varied enterprises from raising cattle, to starting a food market, to opening a shoe store.

Kiva is Swahili for "unity" and I think this is a really great site. I hope you check it out.
