Failing ESP

I read a cute story somewhere -- can't remember where -- I thought I'd share ... because who (ladies?) hasn't found themselves in this position before?

One day, 'Jane' was having a bad day. Nothing at work was going right, and all the little molehills of annoyances were seeming like an endless mountain range of difficulties.

She thought, "flowers would be really nice today". She took a few moments in the afternoon to try and will her husband into picking up flowers with ESP.

She is no fool, so she let that one go. Then she got an idea.

She called the florist and ordered a bouquet to her liking. She had it delivered to her husband's office. On the card, she put:

"Give these to your wife, she's having a bad day".
